There have been some really exciting astronomical events lately, so I thought I'd share some pretty pictures of whats been going on:
Super Moon May 6 - Omg this was so pretty, I think this occurred as the moon was at it's closest point to Earth for the year....but don't quote me on that.
Solar Eclipse - 20 May, I didn't actually get to see this as it was only visible in parts of Asia and North America.
Partial Luna Eclipse - June 4
Transit of Venus Across the Sun - June 5
The next exciting event won't be until November 13 where we will have a Total Solar Eclipse. This will be visible from northern Aust, but a partial eclipse will be visible in most parts of eastern Aust...hooray.
