My baby turned ONE!!!

Wowee....how did that happen and where did the time go! What an amazing year it has been, it sure has been a roller coaster. I have fond memories of Violet as a cute little squidy baby, but I am actually not overly nostalgic about her getting older, newborns are hard work!
We had a quiet day on her birthday; many trips to the park were made on her new set of wheels and she ate her favourite meals, with a special birthday cup cake. It was the first time she has eaten cake and of course she loved it. We had a little party for her on the week-end. We had planned on having it at a near by park, but it rained so we had to cram everyone into our little house. It was still a great day and Violet had a ball, she is turning out to be a really social little miss.
I am looking forward to seeing what the next year brings on this whirlwind of a ride that is parenthood.
